The Ford School & College has been bequeathed from the owner of the Ford Estate Late Mr. John Ford & his wife Biwi Dhukhani. It is a part of Allahabad Agricultural Institute presently Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences (SHUATS). Ford School and College is a Christian Minority Institution governed by the society Sam Higginbottom Educational & Charitable Society (SHECS).
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with affiliation number 2133385 for Secondary Level (till class - X) from 01.04.2020 to 31.03.2023 and was upgraded for Senior Secondary Level (till class - XII from 01.04.2022 to 31.03.2027
The medium of instruction is English, though special emphasis is given on teaching Hindi and Sanskrit as well
The Academic Session starts from April to March for classes Nursery to XII.
